The MML Apt combines two adjacent loft spaces into a new flexible home for a growing family. The space is set up to simultaneously provide family gathering and independent activities. Moveable walls, large doors, moveable millwork, and curtains provide flexibility. The material palette is defferential to the existing loft – wood floors, wood ceilings and beams, white walls, steel and glass. The kitchen is a deep blue with bronze island and backsplash. The master bathroom showcases a floating resin sink with tub and integral shower behind floating mirrors. The clients were also provided with a smoking lounge, den with moveable bar, and continuous floor to ceiling shelving for their impressive library.
