The MML Apartment combines two adjacent loft spaces into a new, flexible home for a growing family. Featuring moveable walls and millwork, large doors, and curtains to provide adaptability, the design of the space encourages gatherings as well as independent activities.

The material palette is deferential to the existing lofts’ white walls, steel and glass elements, and wood floors, ceilings and beams. The kitchen is redone in a deep blue with a significant bronze island and backsplash, while the primary bathroom showcases a floating resin sink, with a tub and integral shower behind floating mirrors. The home also features ample space for respite and entertaining, including a smoking lounge, a den with a moveable bar, and continuous floor-to-ceiling shelving for the clients’ expansive library.
