SAS Apt combines two one-bedroom apartments into a new, three-bedroom unit for a growing family. The project features custom millwork throughout, CNC-routed radiator covers, a custom mural, custom two-tone mirror, and a custom, L-shaped stainless steel shower door with ribbed glass that reveals a standout, bright yellow shower inside.

Two concealed pocket doors were introduced to grant visitors access to the differing levels of private spaces within the apartment, but to likewise disallow this flow of movement when preferable. Steel columns throughout the space have been stripped of their encasements to expose the original industrial structure of the units, revealing an original charm alongside more contemporary renovations.
